The truth is quite disappointed. The place is beautiful, yes, but the food is excessively scarce for the price. The taste is just fine, but the size of the chicken was totally disappointing as well as insufficient for a meal. For a small chicken (more like a quail) plus a drink we paid 40 francs. It is not recommended at all.

Very cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine. The service is very familiar. Unfortunately the kitchen had run out of great Güggeli. But the innkeeper informed us well before our reservation date, so we could decide whether we still wanted to have dinner there. We wanted and were not disappointed. Whether chanterelles or scallops - everything was prepared to perfection.

My visit to the Frohsinn restaurant was characterized by a beautiful atmosphere and precise and punctual service. The ambience of the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing and created a pleasant environment. The service was professional and attentive, which positively influenced my experience. I chose the Wagyu beef from Götzental and found it to taste good, but not exceptional. However, the fact that the meat was served pre-sliced marred my experience as it caused the meat to cool quickly and no longer reveal its full flavor. Overall, my visit to Restaurant Frohsinn was pleasant but the Wagyu experience didn't quite live up to my expectations.
