Hotel Rigi Vitznau : Seestrasse 65, 6354 Vitznau

We ate at the restaurant. The food and service was amazing. My wife loved the tomato cream soup. We also had the authentic swiss fondue. It was amazing esp on a cold night. Highly recommend this great restaurant. One can see the pride of ownership. Also try the hot and homemade apple strudel.

I'd like to say a big thank you to the kind owner and staff who came to our aid when we were stranded in Vitznau and missed the bus to our hotel in Gersau! The lovely staff helped us with bus times and gave us some advice on what was best, and we decided that the best option was to stay in this hotel for the night. The lovely kind owner gave us a discount on the room, and gave us one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in! Sooo comfy, lovely big room, spacious, really nice bathroom and shower with great water pressure. It was so clean and was just the place we needed to be when we were so tired from travelling. They also offer breakfast with the price of the room, and the breakfast was incredible. Lots of delicious fresh cheese, meat, and yoghurt. Also fresh bread and croissants, and coffee! We also bumped into another guest who told us that this was the best hotel in all of Switzerland - I can see the staff and owners are truly loved by their loyal customers, and you can see why. Thank you again to all of you for being our knights in shining armor, when we are back in Vitznau we will definitely be returning :)

We had our dinner there and oh-my-god it felt like home! Their orange horseradish soup and chicken curry were absolutely delicious. We cannot give it any less than 5 stars 🌟 Thank you for the amazing food!
