Location: The setting—surrounded by mountains and a lake—is absolutely stunning. Style and Character: Frutt Mountain Resort strikes a perfect balance between modern architecture and traditional Alpine charm, with thoughtful touches like wooden craftsmanship and decorative elements such as cowbells. Service and Facilities: The waiter at dinner was very professional and handled the situation well when there was only one portion of beef filet left for a table of four. However, this kind of shortage shouldn’t occur in a steak restaurant. The popular Chimichurri sauce was also unavailable, which was disappointing. Some smaller details missed the mark—for example, the lobby fireplace was off at 22:30, with the explanation that the bar would be closing at 23:00. A few staff members came across as somewhat inexperienced. The spa is excellent—especially the sauna, which offers breathtaking views of the mountains and lake. Rooms: The rooms are beautiful. Lake-view rooms, in particular, feature large windows that provide spectacular scenery. Food and Drinks: The food was very enjoyable, and the wine list was well-curated. Summary: Overall, a fantastic and charming hotel in a breathtaking location. With more attention to detail and improved staff training, the experience could be elevated even further.

What a fantastic resort!! I have travelled all over the world, staying in hundreds of hotels and never once been at a place like this. After a week there, it was the most relaxing place I could imagine. The staff was super friendly, extremely outgoing and I don’t think I ever saw one person without a smile on their face. The location is remote but has enough facilities to keep you busy during your stay. For those who enjoy outdoor activities this is a must stay.

We had a wonderful experience at Frutt Mountain Resort. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was top-notch. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming—both at the reception and in the restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the views are truly breathtaking. We spent two amazing days at this location and highly recommend it. We will definitely return in the winter season! ❤️🇨🇭
