Gasthaus am Brunnen : Platz 11, 7122 Valendas

We just went there for a coffee and a piece of cake after a hike. It was all very nice. But especially nice were the two waiters. Super friendly, very funny. Keep up the good work 😊

Stopped here for lunch with family. There's a choice of whether to have 2,3,4 or 5 courses. We went for 2 and they were beautifully presented and very tasty. This is fine dining so don't expect huge portions but do expect quality. We cannot comment on the rooms as we didn't stay there.

It was pure luck we stumbled upon this place. We were enroute to another restaurant that was closed so we turned back for Gasthaus Brunnen and it couldn’t have been better for us. We were warmly greeted and even chef Matthias came out to say hello and explain his awesome food creations. The food presentation was out of this world even for our lunch dishes of: mixed salad, asparagus soup, and local roast beef with fries. My wife and I probably wouldn’t normally dine at a place like this, but for lunch with reasonable prices it’s worth a visit. Crazy to think this place is in the middle of Switzerland in a sleepy town, but were blown away with the flavors and presentation. Thanks for an unexpected amazing lunch!
