Restaurant Miroir d'Argentine : Rte de Solalex 148, 1882 Gryon

An absolute gem! The food is nothing short of exceptional—beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with the finest ingredients. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between chic elegance and cozy relaxation, making it ideal for both special occasions and laid-back indulgence. Service is impeccable—attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. And the location? Simply dreamy, adding to the overall magic of the experience. They truly deserve every single star and more! Bonus: Dogs and kids are totally welcome.

We hiked to le Mirroir and remained for the night at the hotel. The restaurant was part of an offer comprising of a full menu. Food was delicious (didn't take photos), with a wonderful tasting of many local flavours and products, all in a modern and very enjoyable plating. Wine pairing was enjoyable, and we definitely appreciated the flexibility of the staff around this (we shared 1 wine pairing for 2). A nice ending to the dinner, to have the owner visit the tables for a joke and a chat. The stuff were just wonderful, present yet discreet, efficient and always smiling. The overall vibe felt relaxed, despite the fact that the place receives some very distinguised guests on a daily basis. Breakfast was extremely varied in terms of choice, and the omelette I've chosen was just delicious, and along the lines of high cuisine quality. Be sure to book in advance; because of the year long access by car (check during snowy winters, to be sure), the restaurant is often fully booked. The location is superb, with the views on the Miroir d'Argentine being incredible; so many opportunities for enjoying a good meal, or for hiking or climbing. I highly recommend the hotel in the same building; wonderful location.
