Berggasthaus Sonnenhof Preda : Veja, Preda 29, 7482 Preda

Nice place in a great location. There are a lot of hiking trails around. Don’t be mislead by a tunnel construction in the village, we didn’t hear or see it from our room. It was a little bit hard to find the house, Google Maps is not precise. We contacted the owner and she explained the way very well. Hostess Anna is very nice and provided us with a lot of useful information about things to do around, history of the place, nature etc. And her dog Butterball is so cute and friendly.

We were warmly received by the host at the end of the winter season, despite being the only guests at that time! We stoped for a night during our skitouring/mountaineering trip, and got everything we needed - a quiet place to sleep and take shower, high variety of beverages and snacks, and delicious homemade dinner and breakfast,. Plus, we got to know a bit about the place and the host. We hope to be back. The Gasthaus is very conveniently located for skitouring in the area.
