Restaurant Acasa & Bar Zürich Oerlikon : Binzmühlestrasse 72, 8050 Zürich

My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant for our Valentine’s Day dinner, hoping for a special evening. We made a reservation by phone, and upon arrival, our table was ready without any wait—a great start. As a lovely touch, we were welcomed with two complimentary glasses of champagne.❤️ The presentation of the dishes was truly impressive, and the cannelloni was absolutely delicious—one of the highlights of the evening. Unfortunately, despite the beautifully plated food, the service left us deeply disappointed. Our waiter was completely unprofessional💔. When we asked simple questions about the menu, portion sizes, and wine, his responses were condescending, making us feel as if we were stupid. We initially thought there might be a language barrier, so my boyfriend politely asked if he spoke Italian, as many of the staff members did. His response, however, was not only dismissive but also came across as arrogant and borderline offensive, making us feel uncomfortable in a place where we should have felt welcomed. His inattentiveness continued throughout the meal. After finishing our food, he took only the empty champagne glasses but left our plates on the table for another 5–10 minutes before finally clearing them. Even then, he didn’t ask if we would like dessert or coffee. We had actually planned to order both, but at that point, we just wanted to leave. As we exited, my boyfriend said goodbye, only to be met with silence. It’s truly a shame because the food and presentation were excellent, but the poor service overshadowed the entire experience.

The breakfast buffet has variety of different dishes including vegetarian items.

We loved dinning at this restaurant, it is probably the best in the area. The food is superb and the staff are uber friendly
