The Bernese wine cellar is very impressive and is well suited for larger groups. I was allowed to reconnoiter a trip for a group of about 20 people and in this context I got to know the cellar. Interesting objects from the wine-growing region are exhibited there >> great job.
A very pretty wine cellar with an imposing wine press. The dining room is quite large, and the decor takes us back in time. I went there for an aperitif, so I can only judge the cuisine based on what was offered. Plates of charcuterie, cheese, bread, carrot and zucchini sticks with a pink sauce. The wine I had was too young for my taste. All in all, it was okay for an aperitif.
The staff was excellent and the staff welcomed me and my colleagues who were with me. Even though I didn't speak the local language well, he tried to speak to me in English and even Portuguese, hehe. The local sausage was very good, very reminiscent of Brazilian calabresa sausage, and the crusted potatoes were delicious. The place is quite old, but it has a history of how the wine is made. You can buy wine there too, and you need to call to make an appointment. And the dessert was also very good, the special ice cream with cinnamon, lemon, and alcohol. Thank you so much for everything! 👍
