May 10th: 10 days after the reopening with a new landlady, I visited the Alpwirtschaft Vorderwengi for the first time. A beautiful sunny mountain spring day, albeit still fresh in the morning. Coffee and cake with your tiptop snack. After a short hike I was back for lunch. The chicken curry meal of the day tasted very delicious. You can tell that the new landlady is a trained cook. I could have also taken something from the small but nice menu. After the main course, I decided on a Coupe “Lisa”. A large portion of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream, almost too much after lunch. Certainly not my last visit.
