We had lunch in this Michelin starred eatery on Good Friday of 2025. It's unexpected that farmed pike-perch from the canton of Wallis and arctic char from Iceland are on their gastronomic menu when the same species are available wild in nearby lake Murten and Lake Geneva respectively. We chose our main course from their restricted à la carte menu featuring three choices. We found what we were offered unnecessarily complicated. For instance, five overcooked and unsalted filets of not perfectly fresh perch on top of white and green asparagus, topped by dried ham and morel-cheese filed ravioli, all at a price exceeding 10 CHF per filet! Our chosen desert was minuscule, although beautifully executed. As always, we remove a star for restaurants that charge you for tap water despite drinking wine with your meal, practiced essentially in the German speaking part of the country. Overall, a mixed experience with poor value for money.
