Nice, simple and cosy mountain chalet, with restaurant and accommodation. Perfect stopover or accomodation for hikers, or accessible by car via a narrow mountain road. The owners serve variety of warm and cold food and drinks. You can choose a table on the nice big terrace to enjoy drink and the panoramic view. We had a very tasty Schnipo there. Additionally there is a small self service hut selling local cheese and other products.

We came here a week ago after reaching the pinnacle of what would be a 19km hike and had a very fun and memorable experience. We got there late for lunch but arrived in the middle of what was a local lottery with a guy spinning a wheel and yelling out numbers in an arcane dialect of German with some lucky winners awarded with plants and baked goods. Two gentlemen also playing accordion made for a very festive atmosphere. The food and drink was tasty and cold respectively and a good value for money by Swiss standards. The croque monsieur and the rosti filled the stomach void that 700 meters elevation hiking had created. Though service was a bit slow it was Super friendly staff and nice natives who helped us to lose money on tickets for the lottery made this a very special day that we will certainly remember. Worth the extra km to your hike!
