Cosy popup store in the middle of Biel Central. Walking into the Chalet transports you out of the city, and into a cabin like in the woods. Lucky for us, we made reservations early and were able to secure a table. We enjoyed the service, ambience, fondue and drinks very much. For a heart warming winter meal, I cannot recommend this place enough. 🌟🫕

We ordered two classic and two porcini mushroom fondues for four people, and then an additional 1 porcini mushroom fondue. We really enjoyed the fondues, but the portions could have used a little more cheese. The service was very friendly and personable. We were a little busy, though, and had to wait a long time to be served. It wasn't too bad, though. The chalet was very spacious, and they gave us plenty of room to sit.

Every year, it was a real pleasure to eat at Le Chalet restaurant in Biel. However, my recent experience was unfortunately overshadowed by an unexpected, disappointing, and poorly organized circumstance. The service staff was completely overwhelmed and waited 10 minutes before someone showed us to our table. We had reserved a table for 3 people and were given a table for 2 very anxious people. When everything we ordered arrived, our bottle of Chasselas wine and our 18 CHF teapot of black tea were left on the floor!!! Because we didn't have enough space on the table, a disgrace!! What shocks me most is that when I check my emails later that evening, I see two inexplicable and unexpected emails from them!!! Email: It's full, and then our reservation is canceled. Another email: Our dinner is moved to December 15th at 7:15 p.m. for people! See the attached photos! Given that we were having dinner at Le Chalet restaurant on December 14th at 7:15 pm! I responded to their email after checking it! Unfortunately, their feedback was minimal and uninteresting. However, I would have liked clearer and more professional feedback from the restaurant, since the error was theirs. I hope the restaurant will take this feedback into account to improve its reservations process and maintain customer satisfaction. Given its atmosphere, service, and organization, we will never set foot in this restaurant again.
