Fantastic place for a day out. Great restaurant, incredible views. Very helpful staff. Good food, spectacular sunset. Add it to your Appenzell bucket list

Food is decent, simple,and good service. Beautiful view of the Santis range and part of the Rhinel valley and the Austrain mountains. We come here quite often as the hike is pretty easy, and there are about 16 long tables with benches outside and more seats indoors. Service is friendly and quick. Big choice of local pies and dessert. My favourite drink is the "Ghürotne" . Try it out if you like apple cider.
