A first time in this Danish-inspired restaurant in the middle of the Geneva countryside. We must absolutely congratulate the Danish designers for the beauty of the room and the kitchens, visible from it. Light wooden tables, Danish chairs, very elegant and high quality crockery. Light pendant lights, magnificent monumental marble bar. The decor of the sanitary facilities is also very successful. The HYGGE restaurant is part of a YOTEL hotel complex at the Coppet/Founex motorway exit. It was previously owned by the Caviar House and Prunier group, which manages a few corners and bistros at Geneva airport. As for the menu, the starters are certainly inspired by North Sea products, but the dishes are completely standard. A beautiful Danish plate to share as a starter with shrimp, sardines and salmon, , followed by a very successful lemon and asparagus risotto, and two perch fillets very disappointing because they are full of bones. We reported it to the waitress, very friendly, helpful and smiling, who had to bring it back to the kitchen. I am used to perch fillets from Leman or others at various tables in the region and I have never had to deal with so many bones with this dish. So a little disappointment with this dish, which is easy to make when the quality of the product is there. In conclusion, the strong point of this restaurant is its very accomplished decoration and its very professional service. Probably also the roof top which, due to lack of time, we were unable to visit. Coffee, taken on the terrace on the ground floor, was offered. THANKS

A great discovery of Danish cuisine. The dishes are carefully prepared, highlighting the freshness and richness of Scandinavian flavors. The service is very good, with welcoming and attentive staff. The setting is just as good, a large, spacious room bathed in light, perfect for enjoying a meal in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
