We turned up thinking it was a restaurant but it’s actually a traditional Swiss pub owned by a bunch of locals who were so friendly and welcoming. Had a great night!

We had to stay one night in Buochs due to car trouble. Never fun, but Schäfli restaurant made up for everything! What nice people; We really received such a hospitable welcome, and it was also very nice to have contact with the Swiss regulars! A great experience, despite the “bad luck”. The extensive board with all kinds of delicacies was also very tasty and extensive, and the wine was delicious. Absolutely recommended!

What a wonderful place to be. Small, cozy & cozy. Unfortunately we were in transit to Italy and we couldn't stay longer. We had no cash with us, but the very friendly and hospitable owner Mädi drove to the ATM, while in the meantime his wife prepared a delicious and extensive cheese board with fantastic toasted sandwiches and tasty hams for us! Sublime! 2 weeks later I discovered that I had forgotten my jacket and keys…. Owner Mädi sent my jacket by parcel post to Amsterdam. Really great and thanks again! And see you again soon!
