The Wartegg is a home-style restaurant with a classic menu. We arrived shortly before 9 p.m. and were worried the kitchen had already closed. We were pleased that there was still food available. The dining room was completely full except for two tables. The service was busy. Nevertheless, we were served quickly. Food: When I got the schnitzel garnished, I was a bit disappointed. So few fries. But I was wrong. The fries came in a separate bowl and filled my plate halfway when I added them. The schnitzel was perfectly seasoned and succulently cooked. The same was true of the creamed schnitzel, which was also very tasty . Cleanliness: From the outside, it looks like an old building. Inside, it appears to have been recently renovated. The dining room, as well as the restrooms, were very clean. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. The building is only accessible via stairs. We highly recommend the restaurant.
