Although Gamperfin can be reached by car, it is also suitable as a stopover with snowshoes from Wildhaus and is a good starting point for ski tours. We were able to hold the Mindway Höck here with around 35 people, together with another group of around 14 guests from the Bergrettug Wildhaus. The hosts made it possible to have an aperitif outdoors. But in sub-zero temperatures it was pleasant thanks to the fireplace and mulled cider that was served from the kitchen every now and then. The fondue is easy to digest and the delicious local drink specialties were also well tolerated thanks to the mountain air and good dosage.

It's worth the hike. Reachable by snowshoe from Oberdorf in 90 minutes. A beautiful hike with fantastic panoramic views of the Churfirsten Mountains, the Säntis, and the Rhine Valley. Enjoy delicious rösti and plum cake.
