We recently dined at Spice Bazaar in Engelberg and had a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great depending on the weather and your preference. The atmosphere was welcoming and well-suited for a relaxed meal. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice, and it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious—exactly what you’d hope for from a good Indian restaurant. The spices were well-balanced, and the portion size was satisfying. However, the only downside was the price. While the quality of the food was undeniable, we found it to be quite expensive for what we got. That said, if you’re willing to splurge a bit for authentic Indian flavors in the heart of Engelberg, this spot is worth considering.
