Great location. Very friendly staff, the waitresses were fantastic even though they were so busy! (They are a credit to your restaurant.) I genuinely never saw them stand still. Food was fantastic, big portions for a very fair price. This restaurant is very popular. Book in advance. I was lucky to get a seat at the bar (hence the lighting in the photos). Can't recommend enough.

Traditional german food is served in this place, which is very delicious. We ordered wurstsalad (very refreshing), schnitzel and beef with spätzle. We'd love to come back again and try the rest of the menu. Also had nice views of the clock tower. And kudos to the waitresses, they were super kind to us.

I had the pleasure of dining at Zum Schwabentörle without a prior reservation, and despite the bustling Saturday crowd, we lucked out with an outdoor table on a warm evening. Surrounded by the lively streets and with a picturesque view of Schwabentor, we knew we were in for a memorable experience. The service was outstanding, with both our waiter and the bartender speaking English fluently. It was a relief to receive English menus, making the ordering process seamless. The culinary delights matched the excellent service. The coffee and beer I ordered were of top-notch quality, setting the tone for the meal. The real star of the evening, however, was the rump steak. Grilled to a perfect medium-rare, it was incredibly tender and oozing with juiciness, a true carnivore's delight. Overall, Zum Schwabentörle exceeded our expectations. The combination of great service, scenic ambiance, and delectable dishes made for an unforgettable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of excellence in both cuisine and service.
