The food and wine pairing was fantastic. Personally, I really enjoyed the fish dishes and paella. The atmosphere and service were so so, and one thing that was disappointing was that we made a reservation a long time ago but our table was right in front of the door. When I asked if we could change our table, they said that the other tables were already reserved, but I saw that most of the guests who came in afterward were seated at random. Just in the afternoon, we met the old couple at the hotel pool and met again at the restaurant, and we asked them for the reservation date, they said that we made the reservation much later than us. This part was quite unpleasant, but forgivable because of the delicious food. And all the wine courses recommended by the sommelier were amazing! I asked a lot of questions while drinking wine, but thanks to the sommelier's kind answers and explanations. I was able to focus more on cooking. Our wedding anniversary will never be forgotten. Thank you to the chef.
An elegant restaurant in the Hotel Dollenberg. The experienced, professional team, Mr. Meyer's excellent wine advice, and Mr. Hermann's classically elegant haute cuisine will leave you in seventh heaven. Each course impresses with its loving presentation and harmonious overall flavor. Thank you for a truly successful evening. The wine list is second to none.
The perfect complement to your stay at Dollenberg is dinner in the Pavilion. Attentive service, an excellent wine accompaniment to the meal lead through a classic French menu that leaves nothing to be desired. It is rare to see caviar fit in perfectly as an ingredient and not be in the foreground. The pigeon was also perfectly prepared and I wish that eating it on my balcony at home would bring me the same joy. In short: a perfect evening.
