We stayed at a little AirBnB across the road but made our way over to grab a late lunch. Apparently nobody does that. The restaurant was empty. They brought out their lunch menu for us but we quickly realized this was more of a evening meal type of place so we told them we'd be back later. And while it doesn't look like much from the outside, we probably enjoyed the best meal during our 4 country tour of Europe. Presentation and quality were top-notch.

We had finished a long ski and hike from the Petit Combin and arrived at the restaurant exhausted. The staff could not be more friendly and inviting. We had the plat du jour which was a gastronomic tour de force. Whist the decor might be sterile the food and staff make up for everything.

Love this place. Stayed 2 nights before starting the via Francigena. Rooms have been renovated. Spa is fabulous. Food amazing. Service is excellent. Would highly recommend
