We had just arrived in Neuchatêl and checked into the hotel. On the way to the old town we were looking for a good place to eat. We found this restaurant on Google Maps and it was very close. So our expectation was to get something good to eat in a small old town restaurant. We got a table inside. We were really impressed with the attention to detail they seem to have put into the restaurant. When we opened the menu we noticed that the prices are rather upscale, but also that there are probably more elaborate creations to eat here. I am usually a friend of simpler dishes, but was actually surprised here how well these creations with different flavors complemented each other perfectly. It reminded me a bit of kaiseki, a Japanese style of cooking. The bill was as expected for us relatively high, but by the super service, the atmosphere and the palate feast well justifiable. We will gladly visit the restaurant again and also recommend it.
Excellent restaurant discovered last night in Neuchatel. Italian cuisine with an high end touch. We took the proposed menu and we have enjoyed a lot. Very Tasty and the service amazing. Definitely I recommend and will go back again.
Wonderful food- each dish we had was perfect, well cooked and great presentation. We had daurade carpaccio, beef tagliata and half-cooked tuna- each is something to reminisce about when we get back to Geneva. There is also an amuse-bouche on the house . The waiter initially got our order wrong but was very responsive and quick in remedying it. The red wine is good and a good pour. The service itself may appear a bit understaffed, but overall we’d come back again for the quality of the food.
