Restaurant Curiades : Vieux-Lully 10, 1233 Bernex

Partial as I know the chef, but the staff was great and my guests shared that it was the best food they’ve had in a very long time - and I agree!

We ate here recently dinner. This restaurant has changing menu s per season, mostly meat and fish based, but currently they also have a terroir menu that has vegetarian dishes. As a starter, my wife chose their tomato beetroot gazpacho, which tasted great and was very enjoyable. In my case, i chose a starter that was indicated as a cantarelle starter. When this arrived, it was nicely presented and comprised of a base of seleery salad with on top a couple of small chantarelle. This dish, when tasting, gave a strong impression of only eating sellery, and unfortunately, the chantarelles were overpowered by the sellery. As the main course, we chose their sweet potato leek dish. Again, it was very nicely presented on the plate. The sweet potato was delicious, nice of texture, and soft, very enjoyable. The leek just tasted as leek tastes. Overall, it's a nice dish, but i would have liked some more taste impulses. Now it is too much like an everyday dish in terms of taste experience. I finished off with a swiss cheese selection. The trolly with cheese contained more than 30 different cheeses one could choose from. The waiter gave a short introduction to them before i chose. Very well approach and professional. Overall, it is a very good restaurant with professional and courteous staff. With excellent food and a great presentation of the food on the plates.
