Nice and authentic farm house in a beautiful green area. We didn’t have a reservation so we didn’t fit in the small upstairs dining area but the former barn was cosy and very special too. Our Italian waiter was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately we had a fight with another waiter. My husband works in hospitality and he saw that the group next to us tried to get service but didn’t get their waiter’s attention. My husband tried to help notifying this to their waiter who answered very rudely and my husband got upset. I understand that they were very busy but you never speak like that to any customer. 🤯 The food was very good: my husband had asparagus soup that wasn’t too creamy as usual but fresh and healthy. My asparagus soup was delicious. I had beef tartare as main course and it was of high quality. The local red wine was a very good pairing for the dish. My husband had a traditional plate that was heavy but tasty.
Delicious. Their bread is also very good. Super recommended. The atmosphere is very cozy. First time I ate in a stable 🐴. Took one star because it took quite some time for the food to arrive - we were the first to arrive and it was not super crowded.
Dining here was truly a magical experience, set in a peaceful, beautiful, and healing space. It made me feel, “This is Switzerland.” I’ve tasted Swiss cuisine in many different regions, but it was my first time experiencing such a traditional yet refined and creative interpretation of the flavors. Although I’m not Swiss, it felt as if I were visiting my grandmother’s home and enjoying a meal she had lovingly prepared after a long time apart. The menu being entirely in Swiss German was absolutely charming (and while it was a challenge for me, it was a very enjoyable one!). I also loved the beautiful tableware, glasses, and wine cups! every detail was so thoughtfully curated. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you so much for the wonderful wine recommendation as well! I would love to come back, and relive this special experience.
