We had dinner twice at this restaurant during our stay at the hotel and on both occasions, the food was good and tasty. Mademoiselle Dominique who spoke perfect French and English took good care of us and served us well each time, while the other staff could still learn from her and improve the service quality. Overall, a good dining experience with a fantastic view of Lake Thun.

The location is great and offers an amazing view of lake Thun. The service is overall good and friendly. The food itself was a bit mixed for us. Perhaps we had set our expectations too high given the ratings, or perhaps some key cooking personnel was off on Sunday. Presentation was great as you can see in the pictures, taste felt a bit more average to us, especially for this kind of budget and rating where we are used to a markedly higher level overall. Dessert options didn't inspire us although I admit that's partly down to personal taste.

Nice food, stunning location. As the name suggests, the main reason to come here are the beautiful vistas of Spiez and the lake. The food could have been a little more flavourful, but it was made with high quality ingredients, presented nicely and prices decently. The truffle-flavoured butter was the most memorable part of our lunch.
