The panoramic view from the room was even more stunning than the photos, and the interior was modern yet cozy. It was unusual that there was no fridge in the room, but it wasn’t a major inconvenience. The location is great — just a short bus ride from Grindelwald station , or an easy walk if you’re traveling light. It’s quiet and close to the First gondola and several hiking trails. Although the price is on the higher side, it’s definitely a hotel worth experiencing. It would be even better if the breakfast included fresh fruit.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant fiescherblick. It was one of the best most impressive meals we’ve ever had. We enjoyed every single element. Food was amazing and creative. Service was top tier and very warm. Not overly fancy or serious. It was like having a Michelin meal served by friends. So glad we took the recommendation to come here. So so special. If you’re considering it, you will not be disappointed. A similar meal in Paris would cost triple the price. I expect this restaurant, still relatively new, will receive many MANY accolades and awards. Can’t wait to return.
There are places that don't just welcome you-they embrace you. Fiescherblick Hotel and Restaurant is one of those rare gems. One of the best places I've stayed and dined, not because it was perfect in the polished sense, but because it felt real, thoughtful, and deeply cared for. Our room was exactly what we needed-a cozy, light-filled space with views that reminded me to pause and breathe. It was especially perfect for our toddler, which any traveling parent knows is no small miracle. And then there's the dining experience-intentional, rooted in place, and full of quiet moments of joy. Every dish felt like a love letter to the region. I didn't get the chance to visit their kitchen garden-and maybe that's okay. Maybe some things are meant to be saved for next time. Because when you leave a place like this, you don't just check out. You carry a piece of it with you. And if you're lucky, you get to return.
