Nostalgie Bar : Seestrasse 54, 6354 Vitznau

We stumbled upon Nostalgie Bar in Vitznau for a late lunch and were very impressed! They have a great patio overlooking Lake Lucerne, and if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can sit inside the large picture windows with the same view! The food is top notch, and they have a decent bar to wet your appetite or quench your thirst. Inside, they have several display cases full of antique items from cash registers to model trains and everything between. They claim to have the best Pizza around, but we didn't get a chance to sample it... This would be a fun destination for lunch or dinner along your lake and mountain day tour.

Delicious food made with love and excellent service is what you'll find at Nostalgie Bar in Vitznau. Oliver and Kiki are the owners and they take great care of their customers. We had their delicious cheese bread made with local cheeses as well as their spinach bread. Both were excellent!! We enjoyed it so much we came back a second time to have it again. The chicken with fries was also great as was the burger. If you're in Vitznau and wondering where to eat, definitely come to Nostalgie Bar for the wonderful food, service and beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. What a great dining experience! Kiki was fun and attentive. So thankful we listened to her suggestions and ordered local foods and wine. The cheese pie was out of this world!
