The owner is very kind, service oriented, and incredibly patient :) We came during the weekday menu, which doesn’t have a huge selection, but on weekends, they offer a special brunch weekend menu with many more options. Still, the weekday selection was quite decent, including freshly made cakes and sandwiches. Every dish was of a very high standard and incredibly delicious! very creative, high quality, and some of the dishes served with surprising ingredients like saffron! I had a focaccia with antipasti, olive spread, and Parmesan, and it was simply perfect 10/10. The focaccia is baked in house, and you can definitely taste the difference! The dough was super high quality and delicious! Wow! The coffee was excellent, with a good selection of milk alternatives for those who prefer them. The latte art was impressive, and the serving cup was beautiful We had a lemon cake that was also homemade, extremely delicious and high quality! The other cakes looked amazing as well the Basque cheesecake, the carrot cake, and more. You can tell that everything is made at the highest level by a skilled pastry chef and of course the rest of the food as well. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back!
The staff were very sweet and kind, the coffee was amazing and they have oat milk which was amazing with the coffee
We stopped by for a flat white with oat milk, along with cheesecake and almond cake, and were impressed. The cozy atmosphere and high-quality offerings make it a hidden gem in Basel that needs more spots like this. We’ll definitely be returning to check out their weekend brunch.
