Buffet de la Gare, Rue de la Sagne 9, 1450 Sainte-Croix

I went there on a Saturday around 12:20 p.m. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived. We ordered two daily specials. On the positive side, the dish was good and the price very attractive . But the service... 😱 I hadn't thought about it when ordering but this is the first time that I haven't been asked how my steak was cooked. It was when it was served to me and seeing that it was too pink for my taste that I realized. It's also very rare that someone serves me my dish without first clearing the starter... Not asking me if I want a coffee when the dish is taken away from me is also quite rare. During the walk in, two people entered the restaurant, went to the bar to drink and clearly the waitress was more interested in chatting than serving. This was confirmed when a fifth customer arrived to eat. In conclusion, only the cuisine saved the bill but make no mistake, we are not talking about haute cuisine here.

Small town buffet de la gare that we all know and love. Can't wait to go back!!

I would say that I was lenient with the kitchen bill, it is clear that it is not at all a gastronomic restaurant when there is a cook... posh atmosphere... lousy and non-existent service I had to go and get the drinks myself at the bar, not to mention the boss who you seem to be annoying. There was one more fight. I don't recommend this place even for a simple drink....
