Capriolo ristorante pizzeria, Via Industrie 2, 6592 Sant'Antonino

After years I return for dinner, I find a new management: cloth tablecloths, updated furniture and you eat mainly in the main building, not in the annexed room . The two of us ate beef fillet and zebra steak, both generous portions, cooked to perfection, the meat excellent ; side dishes with a final dessert. Recommended for those with a "good taste", the restaurant also offers various alternatives including fish, pizza, risotto, pasta, etc. Friendly and helpful staff, quick service. Too bad that access to the bathrooms is near the grill and overlooking the corridor that leads to the kitchen.

We arrive late, but the kitchen is still open. Pizza and tartare; the former is well-made and flavorful, the tartare is hand-sliced—not minced—and of excellent quality, with tasty side dishes that pair well. The service is courteous and professional; we leave feeling full, satisfied, and without having lost much of a pocketbook. Definitely worth repeating.

Having arrived shortly before for an aperitif, however, we were only given a couple of chips and a mini slice of hard baguette cut into pieces with pesto and chilli. Okay... I ordered the mixed fry and it was really good! Small portion for the price but highly recommend. Unfortunately, the panna cotta was hard and not very eatable. We spent CHF 194.- and we were not asked if we wanted a digestive. All in all good food and friendly staff.
