Best place ever for food , service , view , a really must go place

One of the nicest Gîte surrounding Sainte-Croix and well worth a visit. One can drive there but that would be missing the beautiful vistas, flora and fauna. The menu displays some originality and pushes the limit of the standard alpage fare. A clear example of this creativity is a menu item called "Les sardines qui ont perdu le nord". Our dishes were nicely presented but we're a bit short on the execution, e.g. the home made rösti was undercooked and the croûte au fromage used a bread that more closely resembled "Wonder Bread" than what one would expect bread to be in a rustic setting. The service was efficient and friendly.

Very friendly welcome from the owner who explains to us where the products he sells come from 👍🏼🌺 locally and also from his country Portugal 👍🏼 I congratulate him because he has a wonderful selection of teas it's so rare 👍🏼BRAVO He has a very original menu and the way it is written and described is super nice 👍🏼 This time we only had a delicious tea and a slice of blueberry cake, a real treat 👍🏼🩷 we also played billiards for a while 👍🏼 it was cool 👍🏼 I highly recommend this chalet - super well appointed inside and outside (sun loungers to admire the view 👍🏼 fair price 🌹
