Super friendly staff and a top knowledgeable host Something incredibly special is the wine cellar with an exceptionally wide selection of great wines, from which you can help yourself. It was enjoyable experience for us and very recommended, all time again.

In the evenings, this unique establishment offers no set menu. Instead, diners are presented with an array of meats from a dry ager, inviting them to choose their desired cut and quantity. Once selected, these prime cuts are expertly grilled over beech wood, ensuring a flavorful culinary experience. Starter Mixed Salad: 7/10 - A simple yet refreshing offering, the salad is accompanied by house-made dressings presented in individual bottles. This thoughtful touch allows patrons to adjust the level of dressing to their liking, ensuring each bite is to their personal preference. Beef Porterhouse and Ribeye: 10/10 - A meat lover's dream. The beef is perfectly cooked to a medium rare, capturing the essence of the cut and celebrating its natural flavors. Each slice is a testament to the chef's skill and the premium quality of the meat. Dessert Chocolate Mousse: 9/10 - A delightful surprise, the mousse is crafted into the shape of a steak. Not only does this dessert playfully tie in with the restaurant's theme, but its taste is sublime, with a velvety texture and deep chocolate flavors that melt in the mouth. Service: 10/10 - Stellar. The staff are both quick and attentive, ensuring that guests feel valued and well-taken care of. They strike the perfect balance between being present and allowing guests to enjoy their meals without interruption. Price: This dining experience comes at a premium. Our meal for two adults and one child came to 333 CHF. While certainly on the higher side, the quality of the food and service might justify the price for special occasions. Improvements: While most aspects of our meal were impeccable, there was a minor hiccup with the cappuccino. It was served in a handle-less cup, making it too hot to hold and enjoy immediately. A small oversight in an otherwise exceptional dining experience. Conclusion: This restaurant offers a distinctive dining experience, centered around choice and quality. From the selection of meats to the attentive service, every element is curated to impress. While it might be a tad pricey, it's well worth a visit for those seeking a unique culinary treat.
