Update 2025: Full of anticipation, we traveled to Mizu in the Bachmair Weissach Hotel with advance reservations. The service is without a doubt top-notch. Very friendly staff who are always there, offer great recommendations, and also take time for their guests. Very personable, to boot. The menu has been changed. Unfortunately, the signature dish with Wagyo has been removed. Nevertheless, we found what we were looking for and ordered two sushi starters and two DryAge dishes for main courses. Very good quality and good taste. I didn't need the truffle on the sushi; the taste experience was far too limited for that. The truffle simply gets lost. The DryAge dish was a good to very good wok dish. We were both very satisfied, but the special touch from our last visit was missing, and the €230 bill was a bit too high for the food. Nevertheless, I'm still giving it 5 stars, as the review was well received by the team on site, and the evening was still very enjoyable. Still an excellent restaurant, with a few minor deductions in the B rating. Thank you for the lovely evening. 2023: Simply fantastic. The Wagyu was an absolute experience. Outstanding quality.

Top cuisine from Japan at Tegernsee - can only be good. We thought so too and tried it straight away on the recommendation of a former employee. And that was a good thing. The to-share concept is great for us, we were able to enjoy the food under umbrellas in the garden outside, the babbling water of the nearby stream also had a refreshing coolness, overall a great ambience. The small herb garden within sight also has a somewhat “Zen” feeling. First of all, a warm towel to refresh yourself - feels like business class with very good service. The Wagyu sushis have it all, the junior nibbled them all really quickly, the tempura vegetables delight every vegetarian, delicious and exactly to the point. The chicken was the highlight for the time being and was really visually successful. The chili threads are a secret in themselves. Actually, that was almost enough, we then tried the wings, too tasty and too tempting. The after-burner in taste, appearance and finishing was the dessert. Actually, in Asia it is often a “weakness” from my dessert lover’s point of view. This is clearly a top outlier and a real “must try”. The flavored smoke under the hood gently penetrates the tart dessert and smells incredibly good. Why go to Japan, Japan is so close to Tegernsee.

Top 3 sushi restaurants in Germany! The fish is of incredibly high quality, the rolls are unusual and very tasty! The sashimi and nigiris are classic and excellent! Plus, a nice selection of sake!
