Super great food and service, the house menu was spectacular with complementary wine, AND comments about the origin of the food... i very much enjoyed this , youre the best, thank you ❤️ The one minus hart in atmosphere? It was a duche constantly writing on his phone with Key sound.. if it was my place he would be long gone 😉
Been here for lunch during the week. It’s conveniently located inside a sport center, with easy parking. The food was just fine; to be fair, we arrived close to the end of the service… The service was great! Finally, the value for money good too. Will be back!
The absolute insider tip in Wetzikon We read about the Aabach Restaurant online. Since we're always looking for good restaurants with excellent cuisine and very good service, we chose the Aabach Restaurant "Time for you" for our wedding anniversary. We opted for the "Seasonal Gourmet Menu Aabach" with 5 courses and wine pairing. We were welcomed with an aperitif that impressed us. A slightly sweet wine with seared thyme, topped up with tonic water. Simply fantastic, unusual, and very drinkable. Then we were treated to a "taste" from the kitchen that impressed us right from the start. Pulk pork on pickled coleslaw. Magnificent flavor. Our first course: Aabach salad with warm mushroom tartar. Delicious. Great. Wilhelm recommended a Lugano wine that paired very well with the first course. The second course: A venison carpaccio. Fantastic. Perfect. Wilhelm served us a fine rosé wine from Portugal. We realized now that Wilhelm is a good wine connoisseur. The third course: A chestnut and amaretto soup. Wow, what a flavor. What wonderful spices in and on the soup. Wilhelm recommended a Sardinian red wine to go with it. Very pleasant to drink with a great finish. Our fourth course: Venison and venison escalope in a venison sauce with chestnut polenta, red cabbage, and pears. Insanely delicious. The wine recommendation was a red wine from Tuscany. Full-bodied, rich in fruit, and soft on the palate. Long on the finish. The dessert: A composition of lemon and thyme panna cotta, chocolate mousse, and chestnut terrine. This was accompanied by Wilhelm's fifth wine: a port wine. Very fine, mild, and full of punch. We would like to thank the entire team for this wonderful evening. A special thanks to Wilhelm for the excellent wine selection. The price/performance ratio is excellent. We are already looking forward to our next visit. See you soon.
