This has been one of the best dinners of my entire life. The restaurant has a very intimate and warm vibe, and the staff and chef are incredibly kind and friendly. We had the 5 course menu, plus the palette cleanser and the canapés, and every single dish was absolute perfection. The highlight for me was easily the main course. The veal was cooked to perfection and all the other elements complemented it so well. They also came around and offered us seconds! To top it all off, after dessert they brought around some homemade sweets. They also brought around a postcard for us to send somebody else. What a wonderful gesture! If you’re in Adelboden, you absolutely have to come here!
The menu included a selection of 5 to 6 courses (cheese plate was optional) including products like lake fish, deer, local mushrooms and vegetables. Very nice taste combinations melting in the mouth. A nice surprise was an extensive wine card with only Swiss wine selection, which can be a very nice experience into local product. The host is very charismatic. The place has a wonderful view on the sun growing down behind the mountains. Price tag 102-122€ per person for the menu.
I had an extraordinary dining experience at Andys mountain restaurant with a breathtaking view of Adelboden. The cozy ambiance felt like a warm invitation to a family dinner. Andy personally introduced the Christmas menu, featuring traditional Swiss dishes with a delightful twist. The flavors surpassed my expectations, and the delicate presentation added to the uniqueness of the experience. In my view, he deserves a minimum of 17 Gault Millau points for this exceptional culinary journey.
