Stepping into this little slice of Paris tucked just off the main drag, I half-expected to be greeted by a beret-clad mime performing by the door. Spoiler: there was no mime, but oh, the pastries! Each one a miniature masterpiece, as if Picasso had traded his paintbrush for a piping bag. The lemon cake? Let's just say it was the "Citron Monet" of desserts – an impressionist dream in every bite. Now, the coffee was good – not "write home to your barista" good, but it held its own. A little tweak here and there, and I'm sure it'll be up there with the crème de la crème. The service, though? Imagine being wrapped in a warm, fluffy croissant of friendliness – that's how welcoming it was. The ambiance had this cozy mountain vibe, which is not what you'd expect in a patisserie, making it all the more delightful. It's like finding a little alpine chalet in the middle of Paris. Four out of five for the ambiance? I'd say that's understating it. It's a solid five for making me feel like I was wearing an invisible beret the whole time. The staff couldn't have been nicer if they tried – it's like they're on a mission to out-charm each other. The vibe? Imagine a French accordion serenade playing in the background of your life – that's the kind of nice we're talking about. In summary, if you're ever wandering around Engadin dreaming of a quick Parisian getaway, this place is your golden ticket. It was so good, I half expected to walk out and find the Eiffel Tower twinkling in the distance. Chapeau to the chef pattisier and the team – it's a standing ovation from me, with extra claps for those pastries. A true gem that deserves a hearty "Bravo!" and an enthusiastic five out of five.
