A real taste experience! From the first bite to the last everything was to die for. The starters were a delight, but the beef fillet – simply perfect! Tender, fried to perfection and the sauces are a real highlight. The dessert was also heavenly. Plus a friendly team and a great atmosphere. I was so excited that I immediately reserved again. Absolutely recommended!

The Riverside Saloon in Root has become a regular haunt for me, one I wouldn't want to miss for anything. For a long time, I repeatedly struggled with bad steaks – never cooked to the right degree and often disappointing in taste. But since I discovered the Riverside, that has finally changed. Every dish here is a true feast for the palate! Whether it's ribeye, bison fillet, venison loin, pike-perch, beef tartare, or cordon bleu – I've tried absolutely everything, and every time I'm impressed by the freshness and distinctive flavor of the food. I would also like to particularly highlight the service staff: always friendly, courteous, and attentive. Here, you feel truly valued as a guest. I always enjoy coming back to the Riverside Saloon – an absolute must for anyone who is nearby or simply craving first-class cuisine!

Good fillet, unfortunately only medium rare instead of medium well, but still very good. The bison piece as a sample was a great idea, next time I will definitely order bison.
