My golden evening at Ristorante Da Adriano was a symphony of Italian flavours and elegant ambiance. The historic Gold Victorian setting within the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski created a truly enchanting atmosphere. The warmth of the room, combined with the attentive service, immediately set the tone for a memorable meal. The 14 Gault Millau points were well-deserved. Each dish showcased the chef’s dedication to quality ingredients and authentic Italian techniques. The lobster pasta, perfectly al dente, was rich and flavourful. The meat, fresh and delicate, melted in my mouth. And that tiramisu is delish!
Absolutely thrilled with my dining experience at Ristorante da Adriano in St. Moritz🌟🤌🏻🥰🇮🇹! Their food and dedication are as pure and pristine as the first day of creation of Italy 🫶🏻From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a stunning, traditional south Italian interior that made me feel like I was back in Calabria, where the owner‘s family is from. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and truly captivating. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional. I have never felt so special and yet so at home in a restaurant. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Now, the food… simply out of this world! We started with the Insalata Adriano, a fresh and vibrant salad with tomatoes, fennels, Taggiasca olives, and red onion that set the tone for the meal. Then came the Tataki di Tonno, a beautifully crafted tuna tataki with celery, herbs dressing, apple, and caviar—a perfect balance of flavors. For the main course, we had the Cappellacci Cacio e Pepe with braised leek, red shrimps, and puffed potato—a mouthwatering combination that showed off the chef’s artistry. The Lasagne Bolognesi al Wagyu was another highlight: rich, flavorful, and truly indulgent, with béchamel sauce and dry aged ricotta that took it to the next level. And let me not forget the Tiramisu alla Adriano, prepared right at our table! It was an unforgettable touch to an already perfect meal, and we were all in awe of the experience. I must say, it’s rare to visit a restaurant where your high expectations are far exceeded, but Ristorante da Adriano did just that. I am still overwhelmed by the quality of the food, the warmth of the service, and the beauty of the whole experience. Highly, highly recommend! If I could, I would even give more than 5 stars.
Adriano is super professional, passionate, dynamic and friendly. Always in control, always present next to the clients. Know him and know the place since 20 years. Every new season he is bringing new ideas, new flavors… it is a great pleasure to visit him and his Da’Adriano restaurant in Kempinski Hotem St Moritz. In one word: FABULOUS experience.
